Good morning/evening to you all, I appear to have acquired a 1999 (2000 registered) CBR900RR, so, I thought I had better come along here, came here from the Ducati forum

I've had it a while, my son passed his A2 licence, got a bigger bike, advertised his 65 plate KTM RC125 for sale, no takers, then, someone local asked if he wanted a straight swap for a 2000 fireblade, as he can't legally ride the bike, he registered it in my name

The pics make it look better than it is, it needs some TLC

TLC indeed, I'd be putting it back to as near standard if possible if I was him!! What is the original colour on the V5 ?? Good winter project!!

Unless of course red exhsust and mustard wheels are his thing!!

 

V5 states blue, it is definitely going to be "work in progress" bike, not been MoT'd for a few years

To be fair the Ducati troubleshooting section is far busier than this forums for whatever reason lol

 

Is that because most honda riders are too embarrassed to ask for help when they break?

 

We're too busy stopping at the roadside and helping Ducati riders with push starts.
