Thanks dude! Yes the o key reason this through up a red flag was because it doesn’t have the pipe and it’s a one owner.

No worries. Honda definitely used stock bikes and dream machine painted them, so whilst rumour had it most were black there may have been the odd white or red one tehg painted up. I spoke to them about painting an sp seat cowl to match and they were very helpful. You could ask them if they did mainly blacks. As I’m writing, was it dream machine or was it spray bay…. For some reason that name is coming to mind

Yes I think spraybay did the BSB replica. I’ve asked the seller for the original dealers details but no response as of yet.

It’s crazy how it’s so hard to tell if it’s an original or not….

To confirm if they did the paint job on a particular bike?

I reckon I could spot a genuine paint job by touch alone when compared to Chinese jobbies. Happy to check out any detailed photos

I attached the link to the add above for auto trader. It has a video. Looks genuine to me.

Looks pretty spot on to me. Only thing and it’s probably the lighting is the gold looks a little less gold. I’m sure that’s just showroom lights though. Very stock bike, not even a tail tidy. Does it have the single seat cowl with it as they were included.

Sounds like it could be a genuine one - the paint in the ad photos and vid looks very sharp (Chinese ones tend to have overspray in at least one spot or the lines don't carry properly from panel to panel. Reg plate shows sport bike factory at the bottom rather than original dealer. Could be they sold it through the trade to Motorbikes 4 All, or it may actually have 2 previous owners. Again a full HPI would confirm that.
Original owner may just have not liked the Akra sound, swapped it to a standard exhaust and flogged the Akra

One way to check easily, remove the under seat panels, they just pop off…. Should have a Honda part no on the back.

Cool, I never noticed the bottom of the number plate. Good shout. I will find out about the cowl. Hopefully they will tell me the original dealers details.
