    Hi all.
I’ve got a 2015 blade with a carbon akro silencer. I’ve removed the baffle out the can and it’s still very very quiet. How would I get it to sound louder. TIA

You won't get it any louder with that end can without fitting aftermarket headers.

Akrapovic megaphone, Racefit or Austin Racing slip ons are all considerably louder than your slip on though if you can sell/swap yours.

Careful what you wish for though.

I took off a racefit titanium slip on silencer from my 2010 blade which fits directly to original headers it sounds awesome no need for new headers its now up for sale as i prefer the under the footpeg exhaust which i fitted an arrow slip on with link pipe

Just a thought you might be able to get just the mid decat pipe instead might be alot cheaper as thats what i did on tbe R1 in work as the headers are titanium. If you do get headers aswell be careful with header bolts as if they snap they will need to be drilled out

You can't get a decat link pipe for a 2015. Cat and headers are all one piece.

You either need new headers or to cut out the cat and weld in a decat link.

I wouldnt bother mate as it doesnt make that much, if any noticeable difference.
I did exactly that on my 2015 when I had it then went straight out and bought a racefit as I should have done in the first place.

I changed my link pipe on my 2011 to a decat one and now it sounds better when I got the bike it had an Akra with the cat link pipe and thought it was too quiet and changed it for an Austin racing one which was too loud on a run of over 30 mins so purchased a decat pipe and put the Akra back on and now I love it although technically it shouldn't pass an MOT

SC Project or Racefit, no need to decat, make sure you get some earplugs.:)
