I have been riding my Fireblade for a few years now, and always ride in a 1 piece suit, full on power ranger and it suits me just fine apart from looking like a sex pest when trying to use the urinal I do have a two piece suit, but i don't like it, because the jacket is too short on me, and makes for a very uncomfortable amount of bulk on my sensitive stomach (really, i have faulty internals) My KTM 950 hasn't arrived yet, but I was thinking of wearing my leather jeans, they are Berik if that matters, and really fancy something that is really comfortable on top, like a hoodie, preferably in some ridiculous bright colour. so I'm looking for advice on what protection you wear. I'm all for lots of protection so want armour in it or under it I'm gonna get an Airoh Aviator helmet, at least for trazzing round town, I have a Shoei X-Spirit 3 for my fireblade, and my old Fox V1 that i had on my old enduro Pic of my blade and me, because i like showing off, and because i like to match!
What about an airbag vest? You can wear them under or over a hoodie etc. https://www.sportsbikeshop.co.uk/motorcycle_parts/content_prod/566409
F.Y.I and in case you have looked at them, I have an Alpinestars hooded jacket which has a detachable hood, good job too! Fine for low speeds but when you reach the fun speeds and the hood caught the wind it felt like you were giving a backa to the Boston strangler!!!
What about a Knox shirt, and a hoodie over the top? https://www.planet-knox.com/category/mens-armoured-shirts/ I agree, the two piece suits bunch up at the front, and have like 4 layers. I generally prefer a Dainese leather jacket, and a pair of riding jeans.
thanks for the advice boys, I have a heated jacket that im hoping to incorporate, im gonna see how i get on with it all before i spend any more money
