Balance the throttle and took it for a test ride. Apparently it feels spot on.

Just took it out for an hour and it seems fixed as far as I can tell. Such a laugh to ride though but so uncomfortable for the first few miles. Great bike

I've managed to get a US version sidestand for mine and it's brilliant. Sits at a nice angle and is solid. I used to hate leaving it anywhere for the fact that it may fall over.

I sold this in the end as the discomfort eventually annoyed me enough that I never rode it.

What are you replacing it with?

I didn't replace it with anything I guess. I also sold my drz400e and bought a ktm 690 enduro r with the money from both bikes. I'm planning on putting my 2007 cbr1000rr back on the road at some point but all plans are on hold as we're trying to move house.

I bought the 690 as I want to do some longer distance on/off road trips after we move. It's a pipe dream but we'll see how it goes.
