This is the 2023 bike, Gigi has hinted that the 2024 bike will have a completely new fairing ref aero, it won't be revealed until the 1st test so they have the jump on the other manufacturers. God knows what that will look like!
Agreed, and that front "mudguard"!! Hopefully the upcoming changes in 2027 will end this aero shenanigans, although the proposed change to 850cc and sustainable fuel we will not be fans of!
What we need is a more pure form of motorcycle that reflects more what we ride on the road instead of all this Willy waving aero and hole shot and lowering bollocks Minimal traction control no aero and all and any other rider aids banned,as it seems nowadays anyone can jump on these monstrosities and be relatively fast from the off Let the skill of the riders determine the outcome not the technicians
Isn't that WSBK/BSB? Not disagreeing with you as I think MotoGP has gone too far, but we do need a more "exotic" level of bikes that the manufacturers can do new/bleeding stuff with. Fingers crossed that the planned rule changes in a few years reign it back in a bit so that the racing can be about the riders and not all about the tyres/tech/aero.
Different look for the Repsols.......certainly less sponsor space for Repsol on the fairing! I think it looks good
I think they all look like the Ducati now......with the exception of the Yamha, which is starting to look pretty dated, especially the back end. 10 years ago all the manufacturers bikes looked totally different. But if you go back 20 years or more all the 500cc's were almost identical apart from the paint jobs so its just gone full circle. When they ban aero, they'll all look different again
Haven’t been on for a while but I have just lost bt sports What bike racing was I watching on it and can I still watch it another way?
