    Hi guys,
Just about to buy a 2019 bike, wondered if it's worth changing out the standard can...
Is it titanium, and anyone know how much just the silencer weighs?
    Cheers in advance.

    Brilliant, thanks for that...
I generally get p3 in Liverpool to flash my bikes, so will buy a cheap cat delete pipe for £90 and a postal flash for £220, happy days....

They must have changed them over the years as my 2013 weighs about 6 kg as opposed to 1 kg for the Racefit

The sc77 2017-20 had the titanium silencer, which is clearly very light.
Makes for a quick decat system with a link pipe.
Ns400r, do you know if the standard slip on, has, or could take a db killer?

The original silencer on the SC77 is very light and good. Swapping to a slip on could end up making it slower if you need the baffle.
I bought the Arrow stubby slip on but found it too loud without the baffle. Adding the baffle knocked 10HP off the top end and without the baffle, it was the same as standard. I now have a full Akra which made little difference but i got it cheap second hand.
There are significant gains in the mid range, but i think that comes mostly from fueling adjustment.

Yeah they’re pretty light, I have one I can dig out and weigh if you like, failing that Moore Mafia weighed one in a dyno video

I wouldn't bother with the decat.

The extra gain is minimal. Most of the gains come from sorting the standard lean fueling out.
