    Hello

New in here having recently picked up a 2012 1000RR track bike.
I’ve just been tidying up some of the bits on it and wondering about these valves (pic attached). Apparently for the intake flap diaphragm, which has been removed.
The vacuum hoses just feed round on themselves. I’m thinking I can just remove them but not sure if the ECU needs to see them even if they don’t do anything any more.
Anybody removed them? I’ve had the bike running with them unplugged and no errors seem to show but doesn’t mean it won’t go into limp mode under load. I suppose a couple of dyno runs would show up if there’s a difference.
    Thanks in advance.

Removed the same on my 2015 without any errors. Don't think you'll have any problems.

Cheers. I might try a session on track with them unplugged to compare before I throw them away :)

All the unnecessary have been removed from mine with no issues.

Put pair blanking plates. That came with a plug which clipped into the one removed but had all the other air mods done prior with no modifications to loom for ages before the pair blanking plates went on.

Only did the pair blank as it was going on the dyno to get correct air reading
