First outing for the blade this morning and didn’t disappoint - didn’t go far and was solo as just wanted to make sure everything was back together and secure properly from service etc. initially. Once that was all safely established had a bit of fun and felt the love.
Doing a night shift in Lennoxtown so while half the country was glued to the football I took the scenic route up to Balmaha and back down over the Campsies. Nice warm afternoon. Quiet roads. Just the job. The joyriders had been up having fun as well.
First proper ride out of the year, up the Cat and Fiddle, sun was out, no wind, perfect riding conditions and I needed it that way as first time on new tyres and new brake pads!!! Back home for WSBK and BSB, Steak and Red Wine, all is good in the world
Rear pegs and grab rail on , took my daughter to Settle then back to Glasson Dock for a brew n talk shite with other bikers yesterday.
Oh man, you just reminded me of another unfinished project. Had these printed a few years ago. They're about 3' x 6" and I still haven't got round to making or sourcing frames for them. I'm a sucker for a 360° panorama. The first one I was just driving by heading elsewhere and couldn't resist stopping, unloading the canoe and paddling out just to take the photo.
I had this one framed from my NC500 trip last year (Clatteringshaws Loch from the A712 in Dumfries & Galloway)
Out in the Peaks before it got busy.... Quite a few legs out but this lad won the shortest shorts of the day award
Spookiest one I ever seen was a couple two-up on an early R1. Rider in shorts, pillion in a bikini. ...riding the double whites outs of Windemere towards Kendal between heavy summer traffic in both directions. ....at a fair old lick - was way beyond filtering.
