I finally changed my suspension settings front & back to their softest positions.

Hopefully this will bring back the missing riding enjoyment despite our shocking poor roads.

I have re-sprung mine front and back for my weight and then set up comp and reb ( I only ride 1 up ), as std the bike is well over-sprung as it designed for 2 up, It now feels a different bike, I weigh about 82kg kitted, the std 2014 spring rates are
    STD CBR 1000 front 11.3 back 114
    SP CBR 1000 front 10 back 105
I have changed mine for 9 front and 100 rear as recommended for my weight, Best mod ever for me on the bumpy roads

not familiar with the numbers; so you went for softer springs?

I just played with thesag, damping & rebound.
My fork travel is 120mm (specification). With the bike free standing, I have 100mm travel.
After a ride I had used 45mm of the travel. Changing the sag, damping & rebound, I now use 50mm and more comfy ride.
Will explore the softer spring option when I have some sapre funds:rolleyes:
