WSBK Main Thread

WSBK use electronic rider aids whereas BSB don't. Should imagine in wsbk they're struggling to get the bike working right with the electronics.

 

Exactly. I'd think a WSBK with not quite ready electronic aids would still be quicker than a BSB Blade with no (or very limited rider aids). Also WSBK spec Blade has more internal changes and develops more power. It should be the quicker bike even with "not quite ready electronic aids".

I also believe Chris Pike from Honda BSB Paddock was seen in HRC WSBK garage to assist them in setup and development.

Jusy in case you weren't already away the races this weekend are happening in the evening and not the afternoon

 

No coverage on Eurosport because of Olympics.

Coverage on Quest or whatever its called 1pm to 6pm for BSB but they normally mingle WSBK in as well when on the same day.

 

I noticed that on quest. They call is superbike and mix BSB + WSBK.
I am not complaining just wished they did it regularly

 

They do it on Eurosport too when Bsb and Wsbk is on the same weekend. Its just Olympics is taking up all the air time so they put it on Quest instead.

 

Has anyone seen any WSBK on any other channel today?? Quest was all BSB!!! Ridiculous that it is not televised because of Olympic climbing, Taekwondo and ladies beach volley ball!!!!!

Scrap that last one, Ladies beach volley ball was seriously competitive and a bloody good watch!!!

 

I got Discovery+ at a discount until next year so watched BSB on catch-up and WSBK live

 

Ok, maybe I need to subscribe to Disco+.....I've just sacked off Virgin TV as they wanted to charge me £106 a month after my loyalty of staying with them for over 10 years!! Just gone on to the new EE TV. Pretty good up to now with options to 'bolt on' or 'off' as I please!

 

All the prices and subscriptions are getting a bit daft. I think D+ will cost about £7pm from next year, but to get MotoGP the price is nearer £30! Sorry Dorna but it just isn't worth it, especially with how good WSBK and BSB is at the moment.

 

I've activated my D+ account now, its part of the sports TV package I've got with EE TV. So got TNT, eurosport and now D+. Plus all the usual digital channels with broadband......£45 a month for 2 years, goes up a fiver every April after that!! Not bad

 

If you watch it on the discovery + app. Top right corner of screen, you can change the commentary to German or off.

 

So basically what you're saying is....German or Off is better than Greg Haines and James Toseland?
