Under heavy & sudden breaking from high speeds, I feel a strong judder/ vibrations through the handle bar between 60~40 mph. More gentle braking does not produce the judder. Not there outside that speed range. Is this warped discs? For replacement, I can do either OEM or brembo equivalent. Any opinion of which one? thanks
Assuming it's on track then it could be the pads resonating, in which case try a different set. It's also worth checking the front wheel balancing, but if you suspect the discs and they are not too worn too then you can send them away to be checked. https://motoliner.com/disk-straightening/
I replaced mine with pfm, top quality discs and similar cost to high end brembo, Isle of Man made so local ish instead of the hassle sometime associated with delivery from Europe
thanks no track use just fast road. Bike has done 23k on original disc (next to no wear) and pads (1/2 worn) I will make contact with the maidstone company
Try cleaning the bobbins, put a nut and bolt through and lightly tighten then turn the bobbin while cleaning out with brake cleaner, scrub the disc face with scotchbrite and brake cleaner as well to remove any built up pad residue.
I do this once a year as part of maintenance. It is not very problematic as it happens only under strong & sudden brake application. I'll live with it until the front wheel comes off for a tyre change, then send them away for checking
