Just purchased a race seat unit and no idea how this fits with the standard subframe, do I need a seat plate and where can I get one from please. I have 2005 1000rr. Any help would be really appreciated...
How it fits depends on whether it uses the original seat or a foam pad. Are you able to post a picture?
So I have taken the original rear cowl off and the plastic battery holder etc. I have the one with the foam seat pad on.
Mine used the original seat.It used the original side bolt holes, but I still had to make a bracket to hold the back down using a Dzus fastener.
