Felt like getting a keyless fuel cap so bought this Diamond Racing one. It's decent but not sure I'd recommend them as first of all they sent bolts that were too long and then they sent bolts that were too short.....I ended up dremelling the longer ones to the right length
Did a brake fluid change on the Triumph Tiger and thought might as well do the fireblade as well as there was plenty of new fluid left and as we know once opened it won’t keep.
Removed the cct off the 918 and put a couple of extra windings on the spring then placed it back on, it's sorted the cam chain rattle out . Got the idea off YouTube No pics, because I was engrossed in what I was doing
Cleaned the living shit out of it after a week of commuting through filth. One set of roadworks even had what looked like a concrete spillage all over the road
Yes mate, the wife and I share a car so there's the odd day where I'll need the bike for work, she knows not to ask when there's snow and ice. Does them no harm if you're an obsessive twat with the cleaning like me
Went for a ride on Saturday and the heated grips stopped working so Sunday was electrikery day but luckily was just the connectors working a bit loose after 8 years. Then actually cleaned it and noticed that one of the bar ends was missing. I'm sure it was there on Saturday
Went out for a ride and the seat cowl flipped off on a dual carriageway. Retrieved it but nasty cracks. Now looking for replacement. Honds OE is stupid money.
Fitted new headstock bearings. Chain and sprockets and full service then been out on it. Also bought a red flat seat cowl and can't decide if I prefer that to the white sp style one. Gave it a good clean as was needed. The joys of riding through winter.
Fitted my replacement bar end and had fun making sure the throttle would snap itself off when released, effing heated grips!
Happened to me a while ago ('09 plate). Got hold of a replacement, had it painted (ouch! £) then added a tether; Paracord and a short elastic bit to be able to fit/remove. Hope you get it sorted
