it is lol, but well worth it in the end, you can buy sato rear footpeg mounts to fit so you can install and remove the rear pegs when you like :) just something to think of if you do take a pillion :)

I dont the blade was not designed for two up

I have just ordered the rear peg adaptors from Rexspeed racing in the US (as seen on Damodici`s bike).
I do take pillion on occasion so need to be able to put them back on.
I haven't looked at the removal threads in detail yet, but I understand you can get away with removing rear seat fairing, seat lock and loosening the sub frame on each side.
    Does that sound about right?

Yes you can just split the subframe.

Did mine last week Norm. not a nice job i must say but well worth it. I am quite mechanical so i just went for it. Took me a couple of hours to do. I had to pull the petrol tank to one side but left it connected to get to a screw under the electric’s. Basically i stripped the rear end down ( was also fitting an R & G tail tidy) but left the battery tray in as with a bit of persuasion it does flex without breaking. Looks great now back together. I will post some pics when i work out how to do that! LOL :)

I wondered why the bloke at the shop pulled his face when I asked him to remove them, suppose it was worth it to him instead of loosing the sale! He also did the tail tidy at the same time.......no wonder he had a grimacing smile on his face when I picked up the bike, result!!!

+1 for Robinsons of Rochdale, real good guys!
