So guys a few of you have stuck aftermarket pipes on maybe changed the airfilter and then had the bike on the dyno. What kind of results have you been getting? Post up your list of mods and then post up your dyno results and if you can back it up by scanning your power graph in then all the better. BTW whats the claimed standard BHP and ft-lb Torque for the 08 Blade?
Here are mine from Sept 2011 Honda CBR1000rr8 7500 miles Yoshi R-77 Carbon Exhaust Pipercross Air Filter Bazzaz Fi 165.57 BHP 81.85 ft-lb Torque Road and Race Performance Road and Race Performance
Arrow gp-2 + PCIII 1 week ago dyno'd and tuned 166 WHP on normal dyno not full flow. I dont know if i got more peak HP but the bike is so linear and this makes it so much fun!
08 Dyno results Akrapovic, PCIII 171.06 BHP 83.58 MAX TORQUE Depends on what Dyno they run on as all give different figures
no the sports end can with cat. I have the graph but it was done before I got it, I have tinkered around with it since and had it re- done at Motrac,The figures were a little lower but air fuel a lot more linear?
2010 Akrapovic slip-on (no cat) PCV O2 eliminator Pipercross filter 169.98 rwhp 82.54 Tq Bike Magazine Superbike shootout (April 2011) 2010 blade STD to compare 165.5 @ 12'100 rpm 80.5 lb ft @ 8600 rpm @ Somerset Dyno
CBR1000rr8 10,000 miles Standard can K+N air filter PC111 usb 160.14 bhp 78.33 max torque @ Junction 33 Dyno Centre Lancs. The're not massive figures I know but I chose not to fit a race can, don't need the attention they bring. It's much more responsive from the off and soooooo smooooth!!
173.3 bhp and 87 torques. Previous 168 was with Mogsys map on the bike. Motrac Racing. It was very cold, -2 outside, ram air so will get decent figures.
I am off to FWD to have a custom map on april the 5th! i will get plenty of interesting pics up of the workshops and bikes etc
Si, do you have to have the auto tune unit fitted to use Mogsys map? I notice it shows AT in the left hand table when i load it into the PCV program.
Had mine done today but had to have it with baffle fitted as boys in blue are coming tomorrow following my neighbours complaint about the noise of my bike grrrrrrrrrrr. PC, full Arata system 162 bhp and 80 torque. Done by mark Brewin at BSD, he thinks it will make around 168 with remap with baffle out. Had to take it easy on the way back, but it is so much smoother and is pulling really well.
Just had mine dyno'd and custom mapped. Had to do it with baffle in so slightly low results. Running at max rear wheel bhp - 162.11 Max torque -80.08 Pcv, O2eliminator, K and n air filter, Leo vince gp pro with baffle
i was having issues with it running very lumpy at low revs, seemed to be much smoother on ride home. when it drys up ill give it a good thrashing and see the difference.....
