I have recently ordered the above for my bike but after reading the various comments I am now well and truly confused.com.
I was considering Gilles Rearsets but concerned about how they crash, and thinking more deeply how pricey they are.
So, im looking for something thats black, looks cool, and reasonably priced, and levers that fit well, dont flap about, and look ace, short fit me well.

    Any tips wise ones???

    Thanks in advance

    Nick

Standard levers are the best fit and feel

As for rearsets I use SES on my last couple of bikes and had Gilles on my bikes before them and the SES feel alot more solid but dint have the bling factor which some people want more.

Have a look at TRW. They're very good value and look good and come with the brake switch etc

If ur thinking about crashing I think all rearsets would be wrecked, or at least badly scuffed were u would want to replace anyway

I have cancelled the order pending info, after reading some of the posts I decided to wait a bit and look around, I was waiting for Gilles VCR rearsets in black and ASV levers, but not sure, some of the comments about levers not fitting properly, etc . So im going to bide my time and look around and assess the info on here and go for the ones that get the best chuck up !
Im considering ease of fit, style, functionality and build quality. My standard footrests seem to have my feet too far forward and sit me up a bit too much, so adjustabilty is important, ground clearance is not an issue as im not casey stoner. ( unfortunately )

I also find the standerd pegs to forward and find myself resting my toes on the pegs. I purchased TrakTech shorty levers at £90.00 a pair and they are very good. No free play and very nice looking.

My mate has pazzo levers and they are about the same. i would be happy with either.

As for rear sets im also looking and cant decide what to get

Here are my throwaway comments :)
Don't buy extremely cheap ones which may or may not be manufactured and sold from the back of a shed in the Far East.
Don't necessarily just buy them cos they look nice. Think about what you actually need/want them for.

Thanks JM1 AS I said earlier im after a balance of functionality/looks and price......hence the question to the educated masses on here. Otherwise i would just jump in and buy the most popular products. I have thought about what I want them for ( a little bit insulting ) If you read the thread the standard ones dont feel right. But thanks for the comments.

lol OK, here's some non-insulting advice.
    Buy Brembo or CRG.

Agree with the brembo. One of the best mods I did to my bike.

Save your cash on the levers and put it towards a PCV or rearsets

They come in silver or place for same price

You can also choose silver or black pegs, round or flat, long or short
