Carbon Clock meter cover

    Has anyone fitted a meter / clock cover to the 08-11 blade?

    Where can you get one?

    Where did you get the image from? OIt may lead you to the company that sells it. :cool:

    Hi Si,

    It was from a web site in Japan, but by the time I pay postage and tax etc this would cost over £100.00.:(

    CBR1000RR 08 meter cover

    Hi, So I have ordered one of these meter covers from Japan.

    Cost with P+P but no VAT and import charges £88.26.

    (I must be a little mad).

    When it comes and if it fits I will take pics etc.

    I hope the 2011 meter is the same shape as the 2008? Or it will be going cheap, I was told it is.

    There's a local company with me does Carbon Fibre .... I know the guy well enough to go in and ask how much for 10??.

    Maybe see if it is worthwhile

    It's the first one that is always the most expensive!

    Yup, can do mate, I did a group buy on some chain guards for daytonas, the cost was high for one, as the cost of the mould etc had to be covered.
    The more that was bought, the cheaper they got..... So could be worth asking Fletch.

    Now if you can take it along to a UK company son they can copy it and knockem out for £25 I'll have one !
