08+ Front Wheel or Pair of Wheels

Hi,

I'm looking for either just a front wheel or a pair of wheels for my 09 CBR1000RR. I hit a pot hole before September, but as the weather was pretty crap, never bothered to get them fixed! Now the sun is out, it's about time!

Preferably just a front wheel, but will take a pair of wheels. Don't need discs or sprocket, just the wheels. The bike is a Repsol, but anything will do, I am not to fussed about colour. Been checking Ebay but there doesn't seem to be anything on there!

Buy a 2007 front wheel and have 2mm milled off the disc face either side....

 

Will that work?

Is there any noticiable difference in weight between the different bikes?

Will it just fit straight on if I get 2mm taken off the discs?

Can I not put my 08 discs on the 07 wheels?

 

How bads the wheel mate? I was in exactly the same postion, the only wheels I could find for sale was stupid prices. I got mine repaired, honestly can't see where the damage was. May be worth giving these guy's a try, just by luck their only 10 minutes from where I live.
