As some of you know I recently started The Ducati Forum. It has swiftly taken off and has several hundred members. I’d like to announce today that we will be integrating the two forums to a single forum over the next few days. I’d like to thank the members that have made 1000rr.co.uk what it is. And to look forward to a bright future together with Ducati owners. This will mean quite a few changes that will be made to the site. The main difference will be the look and colour of the site. It will feature both a Ducati and a Fireblade on the main page. Also, users will be able to access both sites all in one single, friendly site. I will be making the integration happen by very soon. Interested in your thoughts? All the best. Rob.
Sounds interesting and hope its works but does not dilute the fours content or member Will be interesting for me Craig and dan. Hope we can keep up
The most important this to bookmark is the new website address. Its: 1000rrmembersandducatiowners.co.uk New stickers will be produced for bikes very soon. Rob.
Dont you think the new URL is a we bit long winded? I can't say I'm particularly happy about it to be honest.....
I appreciate this site and all the work that must go into it, but I must admit I am not sure about this move. I will obviously give it a try but would have preferred keeping it a dedicated Blade forum.
Have to say I am not keen on the integration, I much prefer dedicated sites. I am not against change but Ducatis and Blades are worlds apart and there is a different mentallity from my own experience of Ducati sites. Good luck with the project though.
The more the merrier, hope the site does not lose the good feel that other forums that I have been on have been lacking
Honda, Ducati, whatever biatches. 1000rr.co.uk members are cool as f?!k, and we're self-regulating. That won't change. As long as the Ducatisti that are integrated with us are cool (and if it's one of Rob's forums, I'm sure they will be) as us, it'll just add to the rich tapestry that is our (now shared) forum. Imagine the banter... Imagine the ride outs... Imagine the defections... Some of us ride a 'blade & a Duc anyway. Let's just get on with it, roll with the punches and revel in the change.
See your point chap, but no one on here gets the opportunity to be up their own Harris, and long may it continue!
I'm a member of both anyway, does that mean they'll be two damodicis? God help us all To be fair I think you'll find slightly more resistance from the Ducati site than you will here although I may be wrong. Let's just say that certain Ducati types really believe in the marketing of 'soul & passion' etc , non of which do they believe a Jap 4 has. On the other hand there are some really really good members on that side which I've known for some years. Me, I don't give a monkeys, I love the best of all bikes, luckily I have a blade which is up there with the best anyway Besides, just think of the group buying power, something I'll gladly champion. Most manufacturers make stuff for both Ducatis & Hondas as they're so popular so whatever it is the numbers would be quite large and so get prices down.....POWER TO THE PEOPLE Ps - 01/04/2012
I would have like to see the 1000rr forum to be unique and dedicated to the CBR, not over the moon about the change
Dan the stickers will look quite good I think. The new website address will fit all the way across the nose cone.
And finish on the seat hump Nah seriously. Good luck mate. Sure we will all continue to be one big happy family.
