Just to let you all know, the extended warranty is still in place for 04/05 blades. Just had mine replaced with the flywheel. Hopefully it will now be ok. I had to pay for the last 2 as no Honda dealer knew about the warranty. Had to email Honda Customer Service and they sorted it out pdq
Good old big H. Got mine done last year just before the warranty ran out. Same as, including flywheel. Couldn't believe when the dealer said it was coverred!! Saved me a packet!!
could you pm me the email address you used for customer services ? i called the honda motorcycles number from the uk website to see if i was still covered, they advised me to talk to my local dealer....i went to my local dealer.. they knew all about the issue ... had the extended warranty notice paperwork on file ... took my details and put a claim into honda ... next day got a text saying honda would NOT cover it under the extended warranty ... so i order a stator and rocker cover gasket at the weekend (mine blew the rocket cover gasket as a spark from the stator lit oil vapours in the crank case.. well thats the theory) grrrr..mumble .. mumble ... stealth recall...mumble... grumble .... (hope someone from honda reads this forum)

pm sent .. thanks for offering to investigate MrB .. just seems odd my dealer said honda said no to the claim and others are being accepted... maybe mine was an early registration and is just outside the extended warranty ?
my bike is outside the extended warranty due to early registration at least the parts will be with me soon
fitted new rocker gasket... stator, found battery to be shagged.. so replaced the rectifier and battery... all fixed just need to sort out an mot and go for a proper wee blast
