I was cheering George and Mini-Me on as they hunted him down more than most people, but his bike was running well and his tyres seemed no worse than theirs. We know he will ride them to the rims if he has to. If the problem wasn't with him I can't see any reason that they reeled him in so fast.

He has burnt his bridges with Honda, I'm not sure Honda would even allow him to ride for a satellite team. He won't go back to Fiat Yamaha with Lorenzo still in place so Tech 3 / runs his own team sound like the only plausable options.
With Tech 3 already having signed Bradley Smith for next year and having two strong riders to chose from this year, why would they sign Rossi who is regularly getting beaten by his team mate who is apparently riding the 'older modifications' of what have been on Rossi's bike. (except for his past 'legend' status and all the sponsorship money he'd bring). I think he'll end up running his own team but I'm not sure with what manufacturer.

Do you honestly see any team turning rossi away if he came knocking. He might have lost his mojo slightly but he is still the fans no.1 and thats what makes money

Don't forget when Rossi left Honda it was over contracts, with Rossi stating it was the rider that made the difference and was therefore more important than the bike. He then went to Yamaha taking the core of the old Doohan multiple championship winning pit crew with him, with all its technical knowledge.

Fuck motogp! Thats what I say... I was sooo against moto2, but look at it now! It's the beat racing on earth, drop all the manufacturers, let them develope in wsb, and then we can have a proper race in big style moto2 gp style... It's the way forward
