Hi Guys, bought myself a rr6 on the advice from my doctor that I should give up smoking. She didn't mention anything about smoking rubber. I am using her to commute between Stockport and Rochdale a quick blast around the M60 has destroyed the middle section of my rear tyre. which I’ve just replaced it with a Pirelli Corsa ll. I don't expect it to last that long, as I am going to the IoM for the TT I wanted something sticky. Any advice on a good winter tyre would be appreciated. As part of my security I have a remote PIR that alerts me when triggered, 2 nights ago the ding dong sounded around 2am, normally this would be due to a cat taking a short cut, my wife investigated and announced there’s a guy in our garden I was up in a flash just to see him walking away, checked on the bike she was fine went back to bed but couldn’t sleep. I’m sure you’ve all been there, then @ 3.30am ding dong, ding dong I was up again looked out the window he’s back, I banged hard on the window and shout something like f#@K %&f you thieving scumbag only then to realise that he’d bought 2 mates to help him get my baby away. I laughed to myself as they almost tripped each other up in their haste to get away. Its nights like that, that make you want to pick up a cigarette and start back on the dreaded weed. Funny thing is I’ve just fitted a cigarette lighter socket under the pillion seat, for mobile charging purposes while I’m at the TT I don’t tend to get out much through work commitments, I using her daily anyway but time and nice weather permitting my favourite road would be the woodhead before dusk on a summers eve previously I have owned a in order 750/4 1200 bandit half faired and a sv 1000s
Hi Silver Never underestimated the deterrent capabilities of actually firing a camera flashgun at intruders after dark. They're not to know whether you got them or no and if it makes them loose sleep over getting their collar felt, then all to the good. Welcome to the forum. Ken
Not 100% savvy with PC's but it seems straight foward job to upload a pic but the thing keeps spinning round and wont upload an attachment any ideas would love to upload pic off scumbag if I had one

using ground anchor now and OTT chain I bought years ago means they wont be able to move her till i got my camera ready and said "say cheese"
