Hi everyone. Just bought my first Blade last week 2011 model for the beginning of the summer and look at the weather Oh well. Past my test this time last year and have worked my way up to the Blade, what a bike, have not stopped smiling. She is totally customised with a pearl white paint job, tinted double bubble screen, R&G tail tidy, black R&G rear sets, custom painted wheels - white rims with the inside part black, black ASV levers, white seat cowl and an Ackropovic exhaust . Looking forward to reading some interesting threads and any tips or hints that you may have. Will post some pics when the sun comes out, hopefully soon.

Did you take the pillion pegs off yourself ? I've done it on a non ABS but haven't attempted it on my ABS model yet.
No. The dealership where I bought the bike from took them off when they had the bike apart putting on all the extra's, as I understand it's a pig of a job to do as it's not easy to gain access to the bolts holding the rear pegs on as the ABS box is in the way. Believe it can take over an hour or more to do the job, so give yourself plenty of time for the job. Hope the info helps.
