The lad who bought my RR8 is selling due to an insurance fuk up it's got 1800 miles on it mint same as yours. The bike can be replaced but are u ok???
Yup,mate ran into the back of me. Got new 12 in black now. Sorted. 1st 1000miles done. Delighted with it in every way a little better n different in all the right places.

Yup I was fine, never fell off, and my mate was on a 07 fireblade both write offs but did crumple in all the right places admirably. The new 12 is just as good on the road although bpf forks take a little getting used to. With less dive it can drift wide on bends with neutral throttle after braking but with a little more commitment(run in period over) it tracks alot better. Back end lifting under braking(big issue on 08 until I got used to it)is far less prone. Ride does feel more harsh(firmer) but this is all forgiven at speed where it feels so "planted" and the 08 was surprisingly supple so the bias to track is understandable. Typing of which was on track this evening and it was perfectly behaved on my 2nd s20s now and although "not track tyres"was on my mind the whole package seamed to cope brilliantly. Definitely felt a better track tool and the 08 was no slouch.
