Righto fella’s, unfortunately JD won’t be joining us on our little Le T jolly boys day out this coming Sunday, but I’ve had a little look at the maps and have put a route together so don’t mind leading the way, unless anyone else has been in that area and knows some decent roads? It’s also been a bit quiet on who is actually coming so I’m going to suggest cutting and pasting your names to confirm you still are in and will meet at the following : Option A Meet at Maidstone services (Jct 8 of M20 I think) 6.30am for prompt 6.50am leave so we arrive at the terminal at 7.20am Option B Meet at the terminal at 7.20am when we arrive (or before) ready for the latest check in time of 7.50am and departure of 8.20am If you could, please PM you numbers so I can keep with me, that way if you’re not at the meeting point we can keep in contact of progress and whereabouts so we don’t leave anyone behind…. Please make sure you get your names down so we know to wait / call anyone who hasn’t quite made it in time…. But if your not down as confirmed on the above then we won’t be waiting for ya if you’re not there! I haven’t got the details of the original restaurant JD suggested nor have I ever been to Le Touquet so I say we just rock up and see what’s what and no doubt it’ll all be alright on the night (or day)! Right – that’s the boring bit sorted, it’s going to be a bit ad hoc, not sure of the route so fingers crossed, but the weather looks good, French roads and good company all = top day out on the bikes! Right Als04Blade has packed up looks like a regulator/rectifier problem, which he is trying to source today. If he can get one in time we are still on, if not we are not!! Anyone got any ideas where to get one asap pref OEM ? Thanks
I have a spare one off a 98 Blade that he can borrow. Tell him to post a piccy of the connections to compare?

OK guys update on the situation with me and Als04blade. Al has spoken with the guru aka Arthurbikemad, and it would appear that the problem is the stator is fukced and needs rewinding. So unless someone has got one he can borrow, beg or buy. We will have to miss this trip If anyone can help on this please let me know asap, if not I hope you have a good time and we will 100% be on the next one!!

Although it would have been slightly better if it had turned up last Friday for my 4 day trip in North Yorks.........
Sorry guys but I'm not going to make it! The stator winding and regulator have not got back to me in time(cause of the M25 closure yesterday) so no parts = no trip:-( gutted! I even had a new back tyre fitted and got a tail pack just for the trip!! Ahhhhhhhhhh
What a crackin day out that was lads - had my euro cherry well and truly popped! Big thanks to Jimbo and teapotone.com for leading the way and finding those hills [I still reckon I took off] - Met a real good bunch of lads and had a top laugh - looking forward to the next one. PS Dave.V get that Yoshi on your blade mate!!!
