Well boys what can I say... I'm goosed and going out for a beer an only have wi fi in hotel so snapshot only (no pics as tapatalk playing up) Day 1 was hard work, weather was awful in uk when we set off but soon picked up, northern France is pants, fact! Boring straight a roads all the way to Verdun where it all livens up to Nancy... We Finished about half seven fri night and done just under 400 miles.. Day 2 was glorious weather, headed south to St die via d32, had coffee then over the mountain pass ballon d'alsace, great pine forest roads to belfort, then onwards to besancon, here onwards the twisties are out of this world, talking river passes, through forests, over mountains and ski resorts, all the way down to geneve then chambery and grenoble... Was awesome! But another hardcore 400 mile 8pm finish day... Day 3 - route napoleon, forgot how amazing this place is, 220 miles, absolutely no traffic of Tarmac heaven - best road I've been on bar none...all I can say, do it... Laters you lot! I'm going to get hammered...
Sorry for the delay in pics chaps, returned to a blown up fridge, a blown down fence, and car packed in today - welcome back ey... Anyway, we had an awesome trip, 3200 miles in 8 days, rode some awesome roads and saw some amazing scenery... Day 1 in good spirits despite weather... The worst side car I've ever seen.. Getting the bikes ready for the napoleon Happy times ahead!! Tbc...
Stopping for a picnic at our favourite spot on the napoleon Amazing roads!! Fairly fresh rubber after 230 miles of quality road lol Over into Italy and heading over mountains to bologna Was blown away with the roads in Italy, some bumpy as expected but lots were pure quality
