    Hi,

I have 2 different types of is it relays? That correct the flash rate for les indicators.

The bottom one is easy you connect..

How does the top one work?

    Hi Sam

I went through this mod a couple of months back for my 2005 CBR1000RR

    You have two options.

You can fit the resistors you have pictured onto each LED indicator.

    Or

You can change out the flasher relay for an LED compatible one, giving the correct flash rate.

In some cases, adding resistors don't work. (it didn't on mine). Plus they generate heat and potentially need to be mounted.

Personally I would go for changing the relay, then no wiring mods are required. However on the RR5 the relay is a ball ache it get to.
I bought this relay off eBay for £15, it is simply a plug and play

Damm I should have asked this question weeks ago!

I need to get this in tonight..so using the bottom relay..it's messy as I have to extend wires..but I have no choice..

    Answering your original question.

Theses are the same component (providing they are equal power rating and resistance)

The top one just has heat shrink over it and wires soldered onto the end so that you can wire the resistor in parrallel across the led
