My mate has a 16 plate sp blade. He's got hold of a used Leo vince can with a link pipe to suit a 14 to 16 plate bike. Which has the bigger bore downpipe end.

I know the cats are in the downpipes from 14 to 16 bikes, the S bend Leo Vince link pipe doesn't have the 02 sensor welded lug thing on it. Where is the sensor located on these later bikes and does it matter if the sensor is removed or tied out of the way somewhere.

No problem to remove if you have an o2 eliminator! Not sure how the bike would run if just tied up out of the way though

Just looked on the fowlers parts pages. The sensor is placed before the cat in the headers.
    Unlike the earlier models.

Looks like the s bend and can will just be a straight swap for the standard can with out any furling issues. Or would I be wrong?

The headers on the late 2014/16 are actually smaller, it's the OD outlet to the silencer that's larger?.. if the pipe is from a 2014/16 then it will fit straight on, the O2 sensor is just before the cat and not in the link pipe on them models, if it's earlier then the pipe won't fit the his OD as it will be too small.
