Got a problem with the track bike, hope someone can help ?
Not sure if its speed related or time related but after about half a lap of oulton the HESD comes up on the dash and it feels like the resistance has gone, any ideas ?
Is it electrics or the actual damper ?
    Cheers

If you don't get it sorted before we're at the same track next time then let me know as we can swap them over, plus I could take the one off the road bike too.

There is a way to test them .
Will need to get front wheel in the air, with abba stand or a mate holding bike over on side stand .

Put bike in 1st, hold throttle fully open, and turn ignition on. Hold throttle for 5 seconds .Now hold bike over so front wheel is in air .Turn bars lock to lock continuously .The damper will be loose then it will stiffen itself up.

Would only need the side stand switch to be connected or shorted togther to test the damper, I don't think it has any effect on it working when riding .
But I'll double check at work tomorrow for you .What year is your bike?

It's an 04 , but I need the side stand to get the front wheel in the air, coz I've only got a head stock or bottom of fork stands
