    Guys
The engine of my 06 is being dropped out this winter due to the vibration I'm getting @ 5000 +. I'm convinced the rubber Cush drive is bollo*ked so my question my learnered friends is...........can I check it first without splitting the cases? I know theres a assembling hole to align the crank and gear which means the dismantling of the alternator etc but is it possible to gauge the wear in the rubbers?. I might just add that when I bought it 3 years ago (very cheap ) it rattled like hell at idle, I kinda knew the shaft was in need of adjusting which I did at the time , went from rattily to nice n smooth but I had to adjust it loads more than the marks on the casing, now when hot theres a faint dull rattle which on other bikes would indicate the balance shaft is worn,I,m assuming its the balance shaft rubbers or even the bearings are shot.
