I have just literally been to Maxton workshop today and left my 06' Fireblade forks with them for a full service, re-vale (rebound and compression) and re-spring. It is supposed to cost me something around £525 and should take about 2 weeks.
I don't know about Firefox and PDQ but guys at Maxton looked really professional to me. A guy called Richard Adams explained to me exactly and very clearly what job is going to be done and what part are they gonna use. So far I'm satisfied with their customer service but will give you a full feedback when I have them back fitted on my bike.

PS. I decided to go there in person because it was only half an hour drive form where I live but you can post your forks to them and get them delivered back to you.
