08+ trackbike

looking for a 08+ trackbike..... if possible with WoW's.... the bigger the spec the better, but would consider a stock bike for the right price.... Cat B,C or D considered as don't need a V5, even a still damaged bike ( no damage to frame ), needs to be running!

4 month old 520 chain-pro link-£160,new this yr.



engine has had a little work done,just a skim off the block to give more compression,but still able to use standard gaskets,full strip+refresh at start of this yr(march/april) inc.shells,rings,gaskets,brand new gearbox ,slotted cam wheels so we could advance the timing (these are 320 quid from padgets!!!),balanced rods.dyno'd at start of yr showing 182.45 bhp,very very healthy,got the sheets.
all numbers present,and matchg upto the original registration document.

little bit of damage to end cap on can but only cosmetic,and fairings have been repaired,again work fine just cosmetic.

The oil usage "feature" isn't restricted to 08 models.

 

I know, but more often on the 08 bikes than the newer models..... still looking!!!!!

 

so did honda change the rings or something on the 09 bikes?

 

Mine didn't either. Didn't use a drop in fact!

 

Agreed, my 08 doesn't use much either, neither does my 12.

 

My 08 does nt use oil....and its being thrashed round tracks......

rumour has it there are a few 13 starting to burn oil.

 

My 12's sweet only 1200 miles but its first track day in Fast group was 11 miles on clocks and has been since

 

beter a 13 that burns oil than an old 08 that burns oil

 

lets hope it's not an ABS version......

 

oh i dont know,a 5yr old bike you could understand it,but a brand new 1???
