Front left indicator not working . Bulb is ok . Earth is fine by checking from bulb holder to chassis earth but if I go off the live point on bulb holder I'm getting a voltage but its minuscule nowhere near 12 v. Anyone got any suggestions ? Thanx

As Martin said clean the connector. If you measured the voltage on the holder connectors then measure between the live connector on the holder and the battery to see what voltage you get. Don't forget though that it will be pulsing and some multimeters may not react in time so you may need to make up a test lamp.

If it is a replacement indicator ie LED, also have a look for a resistor and other connectors which may have worked loose. Not sure on the 09 but on the 07 it is a fairing off job.

Well it's in bits and I'm still none the wiser. Pretty bloody fiddley I think for what I was hoping was just a bulb.
