Just wondering what everyone prefers, I quite like the idea of a 1 piece suit as i plan on doing the odd track day once i am use to the blade but are they a nightmare to get in and out of. I am not a big fan of riding in the rain so the bike only comes out when its dry. also the leathers i have fell in love with ( sad ino) are only available in the 1 piece.
I normally wear a one piece, but in weather like this, where its just so humid and hot, I put my textile two piece on.
What make of leathers are you thinking of? I also quite like the idea of a one piece suit; but 2 piece is much more versatile & most you can zip together for track days (and are allowable at track venues). Also on ride outs etc when i arrive anywhere at least you can take your jacket off; its always a phaf with a 1 piece. My next suit will be Kushitani - they are very nice, good quality & look amazing www.kushitani-uk.co.uk I thought they only do 1 - piece but they will do all their suits as 2 piece.
The suit i am after is the IXON Pulsar suit white blue and neon red not many of them left as i thing it was a 2014 suit but like i said i can only find is in a 1 piece. http://motoday.lt/image/cache/data/kombinezonai/Ixon 2013/ixon pulsar air-600x600.jpg that's the one
Eye. Not cheap. But probably very good value against say BKS. I bought my current furygan 2 piece at MCN show in London just over two years ago. kind-a rushed into it as there was some good deals & I was getting back into biking etc. they are fairly ok but stitching is poor quality. Can't afford the Kushitani's yet but determined next time it will be a really nice cow I'll invest in. Just bought a pair of kushitani gloves to get an idea of quality - they are very nice.
Agree about the weather but love my BKS one piece, feels great on the bike, but bloody hot when stopped
I have a one piece Dainese and 2 piece Alpine stars. The one piece is an amazing bit of kit, excellent quality. The 2 piece I cannot comment on at the mo, as its unworn , just ordered it and had it delivered, just affords a bit more flexibility when I know I will be stopping off in places, oppose to going out for a day blast, when I would wear my 1 piece.
I thought it would be easy enough just to slip your arm out of the one piece or is this a bit of a nightmare i suppose you may look like a spider but not to sure if this would annoy me too much to be honest but its good to get other peoples opinions
It is easy enough to do, but TBH they can be a bit cumbersome if you have taken your arms out and they hanging at waist height,, swaying about.
Have a nice 2 piece Dainese but always fancied a 1 piece, bought an Alpinestar Motegi 1 piece but couldn't get on with it, the design of the suit meant I slide about in the saddle more than I wanted due to more stretch material than leather around my arse, pain in arse to get on and just couldn't see the benefit, although looks, it was great, just not very practice for what I wanted, fit is even more important, what size you are now may not apply to a one piece so try plenty on
Well I can't recommend the two piece RST Tracktech evo, I had a low speed crash yesterday and the pants have come apart at the stitching on the inside leg.
I have both and like using both. 1 piece for TD's and fast blats out. @ piece for a more relaxed day out and also touring
Have you tried changing the seat to a gripped fabric haven't got one for the blade yet but I put one on my zx6r and it was 10x better
