12+ dash mileage on dash or ecu

    Just wondering if anyone k!nows the answer to this. If I were to put an HM dash on the bike, will the ECU ensure the correct mileage is retained or will the bike report whatever mileage is on the replacement dash?

    I very much expect it to be driven by the ECU but thought some folks here may know. Come MOT time I don’t want it bouncing about.

    Far as I know, it will report what's on the replacement dash, as that happened when I replaced the clocks on my 2014.

    on the HM Dash on my 08-11 Blade you can change it to what ever you like with the software, so if you swapped you could just enter your current millage and it will continue from there (or take a few k off :D).
