embarrassed to say ive had 150 once !!!! never been so slow in all my life. 120 normal down to 90 on a good thrash but ive said it before and Im gonna say it again..............who cares, ride it, have fun, fill it up have more fun......you can do that...even on a blade
had the light come on at 90 miles after a blat on a weekend. but as high as over 150miles to a tank. No idea when on track
The last 5 × fills for me have been 112, 116, 101, 106, 111 so pretty much ball park. That's 37-39mpg.
Just refilled the tank and it took 15 litres, which means, at least, that the Honda handbook is near the mark when it say's that the fuel light will come on when there is 3.5l (approx) left in the tank. So 125 miles using 3 gallons is around 40 mpg...though I was only going steady as we were in a group with one of us on a 125 with a 60mph max. So..wringing it's neck as is my usual style, it's probably a lot less
I usually get 120 before the light comes on Now started to use super unleaded as bike feels better Think I may get a few extra miles too although with price diff doubt its a saving
lol. So true, exactly my Theory. I just fill up when it needs it and don't even take note of what milleage its done, if it seems like it hasn't done as many miles as the last tank i smile and think to myself "Hmmmm, Must've had some fun this week!!"
As other have said before it varies depending on road conditions, speed and temp etc. I usually get around the 120 mile mark before the light comes on. I have had as low as 80 miles before it came on and whilst on a ride in Scotland I did 135 miles and it still hadn't come on. not had time to sit down and work out the MPG but with the size of the smile I get from riding it who cares?? All I know is the tank is never big enough but sometimes the fuel stops are most welcome just to get off and stretch out a bit.
I don't know & I don't care I just fill up when ready....its a pleasure to only get £20 out me purse instead of a left kidney to fill the 4 wheel gas guzzler up
Did about 120 miles yesterday and it only cost me £2 in fuel and £5 for food and drink. Would have been more but I found a tenner in the car park when I stopped for a replen
