i bought this as a project to do up over winter. the engine is strong, quiet, doesnt smoke. all the gears are nice and smooth like any honda from this era.mechanically its sound, its had new linkages, front disks,casings, gasketts, etc etc.forks have been serviced, alot of the black parts have been repowdercoatedd, 2 new tyres.throttle is sticking a touch on the cable but ill sort that before its collected, new gold did chain,new pads, calipers have been re done with fresh seals and pads. its got braided lines making the best brakes ive come across on an old blade. i have lots of old mots to back mileage up but no service history im afraid. great bike to either continue minting up or just use as it is. the mot has ran out but will pass no problem. please see the video that was taken 2 weeks ago. it wasnt running quite right so since it was taken ive installed a new set of reconditioned carbs and had them balanced. your welcome to take the old carbs . the blade has harris rear sets and a scorpion end can. this blade is being listed as a project as im struggling starting it. i think theres a float sticking in the carb as its flodding. theres a smell of juice and the the bike pops and sends a flame out the back when its being turned over so it will require a bit of fettling for an hour or 2 to get it right. i dont have the knowlodge to do this so im selling it at what it owes me without spending anymore onit i want to recup as much as i can towards the one ive just bought. viewing is welcomed by arrangement. please get in touch with any questions you may have . 07706326464 After my money back which is 1350
I still love the look of those early blades. Absolutely timeless If I didn't have an ex-misses to pay off, I'd snap your hand off with that one.
39000.. Carbs are off again.. Carb 2 slider was sticking and there's was fuel behind the diaphragm.. I've replaced the spring as it was stretched so hopefully it will be better tomorrow evening
Blade is now sorted! New diaphragm And carb spring along with 2 new plugs.. Another 100 down the pan lol.. Video available taken this evening of her purring away
Good Buy you've had there Judd! If it wasn't for my Track Bike hoovering up money like Coke up Nigella's nose I'd av had that my self as I had one of those new as my first Superbike back in 1993

That was a great price. I was recently after one on FleaBay, a 93 model with 49K on it. Went for £1500 in the end. I always dream of my '92 RRN in black n gold and wish I had it back.
