best ask for a retrospective discount.. lol Mine turned up last week and the bike is happily sat on it in the garage now. I hope!
they must have sorted their problems, my mates arrives on tuesday, he ordered his at the scottish bike show, so not bad time wise
must get the discount now i've put a picture up.. Anyone else find the 13mm adjusters a pain to alter as theres very little clearance between them and the back plate?
This or an Abba stand? Does that mechanism get in the way of working on the side of the bike it is fitted?
initial set up is a bit fiddly but once its all adjusted with a rawhide/copper mallet it works well. The beauty of it vs an abba is both wheels are always off the floor and you can pull in your garage after a ride, pick it up, spin it round and its ready for departing the next time. makes washing and oil level checks easier too. The only way you get anything similar with an abba is to have their lift arm and wheel trolley kit and it all looks a bloody faff to me. The only thing really obstructed by the lift is the gear linkage and lower rear shock adjuster, everything else is readily accessible. Hope this helps
