Well there I was yesterday, thought I'd kill a bit of time and paid a visit to Millenium Motorcycles just for a snoop around, keeping the card firmly in my pocket

Looking round the Suzuki floor I seen a very tasty new GIXER1000 in black with £3k worth of extras on board. Thought NO I love my Blade and dragged myself away to the clothing dept.

Anyway as the title asks, I seen some RST TrackTech Evo 2 piece leathers as I fancy a change from my 15 year old Wolf 1 piece. Anyone have any experience of RST or any other manufacturers 2 piece leathers I could take a look at?

I was probably rambling on about the Gixer so forget that bit. Every time I see a nice bike I'm tempted by it but always come back to my Blade and then wonder what I was doing for considering a different bike.

I was asking for recommendations on 2 piece leathers as I've seen some RST I fancy

I've had RST 2 piece leathers the last twice now and honestly can't complain about them in the slightest.
So long as they fit you good then your on to a winner, as the are very reasonably priced and damn good to boot.

We also had a very good look at that bike and Bucks who met us there today even sat down with the salesman to discuss a part ex on his blinged up R1 which by the way is a top bike.

Sorry for the diversion Bill but yes RST are top leathers with the likes of Chris Walker and others wearing the same .I bought a one piece also from Millenium and the quality is as good as the other makes ( in the same price range of course)

Ah I'm with it now, the meet was today and I've missed that on here otherwise I would have popped over in between looking around sodding bed stores with the missus. I tried going under the radar but she must've caught on I was looking for leathers and is trying to divert my funds elsewhere. I gonna win this one!!

Crashed in rst razor last year , jacket we'll f***ed but did its job brilliantly. Trousers came out ok , few scuffs but wearable. Replaced the jacket with trachteck evo and cracking jacket for the money. Would defo recommend rst.

Also have a look at Furygan - I bought a 2 piece set from last years London Excel show (on this Feb). Very happy with them.

I guess it depends on how much you want to spend bill?

I've got Dainese 2 piece leathers and love them! ( 4 jackets, 2 trouser) but you do pay for the quality, I've been lucky and never paid full price on them as got them in sales etc, I've now got an Ixon Galactica 1piece good quality and a bargain at £200 as retail was about £579

I tend to try things on see what fits best and then do a lot of searching to get the best price

I'm with you on the Dainese Gear. I've bought a two piece from Manchester Dianese top of Portland Street and just before Christmas a Gift Certificate for £70 dropped on the front mat. BONUS! So looks like I'll be getting my gloves from there too.

Brilliant gear, fits like a glove, comfy but you have to pay for it. Mind if there dolling out Gift Certificates I'm not going to complain ;)
