Alright guys and girls im new here and this is my first post so hi to all. I am in the middle of repairing a european crashed 2007 1000rr and i am unable to source a speedo for a good price. However I can source a 2004/2005 speedo for a good deal. Will this fit my 2007 model? And if so will it work the same?
Welcome. Yes it will fit, I swapped mine over once to prove a fault as the rev counter wouldn't work on my RR6. Swapping it over with my RR5 proved that the fault was on the bike and turned out to be a wire off at the plug. Note that the mileage will show from the bike that the clocks come from though, not your bikes actual mileage.
