Hi all, Looking for a 2006 or 2007 Fireblade in the white, red and blue colour scheme (with the gold wheels). As per the picture. Max 20k miles. The less modified, the better! Thanks, Rob
You and me both mate - I know a man (@Selmer50mark) who’s got one but he ain’t selling. Hi, welcome to the forum and good luck in your hunt.
Welcome Rob ,,,,,took me 3 months before I found what I was looking for ,,,,,,, low mileage and unmolested . Found this ,,,,, one owner with only 6450 miles, fsh Good luck
Beautiful! I’ve noticed a few subtle differences between those with the HRC paint scheme. The rear mud guard, some white, some blue, some red. Any reason? Same with the the rear seat area, seen some blue and some red?
The rear mud guards are likely to be aftermarket, the original is black . as for the tail unit ,,,,every chance they could be from a previous year ,,,,,,, mine is the proper colour scheme for a 07 HRC .
Is there anything special about this model or is it just a popular colour scheme? The reason I ask is that mine is this model but I'm using it as a track bike with the bodywork in a box in the loft.
For me, it's a visual thing. The HRC colour schemes on all generations of Blades always look a bit special. See the background image on this forum! I don't know if there is actually anything special about them however, apart from aesthetics? I am sure someone will have the answer...
They are the fastest underseat exhaust blade. Almost the fastest ever colours with exception of the 2011 hrc colours. I’m with you - having owned a 2007 hrc and currently have a 2011 hrc, those schemes get the most looks and nice comments. Even when parked next to brand new super bikes mine always seems to draw more people looking at it.
Best of luck in your search Rob, just for reference those colours were for 2007 only - so you’ll only find them on an RR7. Also the tail fairing (not hugger) should be a deep blue (almost black) with blue metallic flakes in it.
Thanks so much for the response... I've actually sourced one and collect it tomorrow morning! Pics to follow... It has the correct colour tail fairing too!
Even better. Took me months to source one as @Selmer50mark will attest to as I constantly badgered him for his! Got a NoS one from Australia in the end for the princely sun of £250
