I want to get a HRC Quick Action throttle kit for my 2006 Blade. Can the existing kill switch be used or do I need to change it ? Thanks in advance
Should just be the throttle tube and maybe the cables, switch gear remains as is, well thats how it was with my 2010
Had a look online for you mate and it looks like the same setup it lists it as 04-09 for the throttle housing kit which has a new cable guide upper and lower with two new screws and a new throttle tube , you will also need to get two new cables which are slightly longer but these are listed as 04-07 so will be different from mine. https://www.slipstreamperformance.com.au/store/index.php?cPath=1_25_145 Its one of the best mods I have done and you still get loads of control, there is a guide for the 08+ which will give you a general Idea about the kit and the parts obviously its just access to the bits you need that is different 08+ HRC Quick Action Throttle Install : Honda CBR 1000RR Motorcycle Forums: 1000RR.net Hope this helps
