    Hi All

my bike does not read the correct temp on the dash
it will be one second 92 another secind 100 than 120 so on
it used to be ok but noe is gone worse
i am thinking i need to change thermostat sensor but my question is where does the dash take reading ??
is it thermostat sensor or is there any other sensor on the bike ???
bnike does not overheat at moment just faulty reading really

I don't have a 07 but what you are most probably referring to is the coolant temperature sensor. Look for it on the engine block or the thermostat housing (on RR8).
If you are confident there is no acutal overheating then the sensor and it's wiring need to be checked.

the sensors are thermistors and when they pack up they can do this, also try giving the wiring a waggle whilst looking at the gauge, a bad connection will also do this ( probably best not whilst riding )
