    Hi,
I own a 2007 Repsol Blade. I really love it handling and power. About the only thing I find its not suited to is, it's a bit uncomfortable on long motorway runs. A bit of a cheek from me to complain about, should have bought a Wing! Anyway I have never ridden a more modern blade and was half thinking of an upgrade to a 2010. My question is, will I feel a big difference and if so what are the main differences. We do ride like we want to get there, within reason.
    Thanks,
    ......Mike.

The whole package is improved, better feedback from the front end, you sit more in a 08+ rather than on, it has that 600cc feel with 1000cc power, the rev limit is higher and the stroke of the motor feels notably shorter (more revvy), it's harder to hit the limiter and the bike feels stronger in the very upper. 06/07 model is still a very strong superbike, full system and mapping etc gives a whole new bike power wise, tbh most make as much if not more power than the later bike, what reads on paper does not always work out in the real world, 07's often read stronger on the dyno imo but later bike is a weapon when lit up! If you like the look then its a win win. I do like the new blades but prefer the look of the 6/7, performance mods can change the game for the 6/7 and make imo a bike that can not be purchased off the show room floor.

Problem is everyone is a different shape and all feel comfortable in different positions etc, best thing to do is a long test ride
