2008 Honda CBR1000rr fireblade. Owned since March this year, always wanted a newer blade and I would love to keep it, but the plan is to get a track bike instead, as this is a bit too neat and tidy to be used just as a track bike. Bought entirely standard and since ownership i have added an arrow exhaust and stubby brake and clutch levers as well as rear seat cowl. I have all the original gear and I will happily pop the standard exhaust back on if required, the arrow is not the quietest but I have a baffle to reduce noise. The bike has previously had quite a few owners (passed around between a few friends), but is in great condition mechanically and is good mileage, plenty of tread on the michelin 2cts (great all round tyre). One of the previous owners had dropped the bike at low speed, but as you can see by the pictures its only resulted in some scratches on the rhs fairing and nose cone, easily ignored or replaced and its not on the register. I was after swapping this for a track bike package but instead im now selling, its an awesome bike, ive recently took it for a trip to the TT and I never had any doubt about reliability, its a Honda and people run these for 100k's of miles. Its not used a drop of oil, some people report oil use in the 2008 model and this was one thing that out me off, so please do not be out off. Plenty of power, amazing handling and great looks with fantastic reliability. FSH, 2008 (714 miles), 2010 (6205miles), 2015 (9215miles). Recent major service so next service is only a minor. Any questions please don't hesitate to ask. £4500/£4700 with/without Arrow exhaust. cash on collection. Located in Beverley, East Yorkshire. Price revised above must be the cheapest around, but still an awesome bike with good mileage, not category registered and 100% reliable. Only reason for sale is to start racing.
