Hi all. I think this is a fairly common issue but I thought I'd make sure there's no other options before re-mortgaging the house to get the bike fixed.

I was at Snetterton yesterday with No Limits and in the later sessions the bike started jumping out of 6th gear at full beans on the straights. It got to the point where it wouldn't even really go in, it just clicked in and bounced straight back out even with a very "positive" shift (i.e. stamping it in).

If this is a regular issue is it always the same problem? And, who's the best person to get to look at it/rip it to pieces and fix it for me. The engine is pretty serious and if it's in pieces I'd probably look at getting it refreshed at the same time. Any help, advice or moral support in this dark time all much appreciated!

I would be doing as you say and have the bike refreshed while the bike was being stripped to get to the gearbox as it should'nt cost you much more in regards to labour costs.

Once my engine was out we had the gearbox out within 2 hours and that was our first time doing it. So a engine builder would have the old box on the deck within an hour is say.
