Hi All. I've a blade with HRC loom and ECU that has an idling issue. If I start the bike in the garage it idles at 2k rpm no problems. After a session if I pull the clutch while still rolling with the bike in gear it idles at 4k rpm and eventually drops to 2k rpm. The throttle isn't sticking and neither are the throttle bodies as I can hear them snap back when stationary and as I said it never does it when parked. I've checked that the throttle bodies are seated right, and all the vacuum pipes are ok.. I'm thinking a loose connection or broken wire but not sure what part of the bikes electrical system could give this problem. Otherwise the bike is running perfect!! Any ideas??
Is the air filter seated right? any cracks in the air box? A Renault 172 came into the garage i was working at years ago with a really hight idle so i sprayed a load of brake cleaner over the inlet manifold and found it was cracked but only a hairline underneath and it was pulling in air after the filter causing it to idle funny/high then the ecu realised and cut the revs back down drove fine as well just when rolling off the throttle when you dipped the clutch in you could notice it
It seems to be fine. All screws in place And seating fine. I'm going to pull off the throttle bodies again so I'll double check the airbox too. Im a bit baffled as I don't know if its air leak related or electrical. Also I've no dyno or track near by so no way of testing it either
