Hi all, As the weather warms up over the next few weeks (I hope) I'm going to fit my BB Plastics race fairings. I notice online a lot of people have parts that I don't, so I was wondering if anyone has experience to share: The lower fairings on photos online seem to show an extension mount from the frame bracket, so the fairing clear the exhaust. Do I need this? Some seem to have a metal frame behind the clocks to mount the front nose/upper fairing to. Is this necessary? Any guidance from people with hands-on experience would be great. If I need them, I'll buy them; if they are just 'nice to haves', I won't. Regards,
I don't know what the BB Plastics race fairings are like but you may have the following issues : The lower fairing is designed to catch the oil in an event of engine failure, this means you will need to modify or cut it to fit you side stand and the standard exhaust. The standard front nose fairing braket will work, no need for a bracket. I have CRC fairigs on mine and needed a lot of modifying.
Thanks for the info. Really useful. I think mine are a cheaper version of yours, so there will be similarities.
