hey guys Just a quick post just finished fitting the integrated tail light and R & G tail tidy was a mission but got there in end take a look at pictures and see what you think .... Any question feel free to ask
Hi Abb The rear light is an aftermarket one matey.... It's awesome it has built in indicators which pulse centre to edge on either side all is programable with a press of a button.... The light fits perfect with a bit of pushing about mechanically it's easy to for, however electrically the wiring loom is tight and you have to take battery out etc to locate the lighting loom etc but pretty dam easy if you buy one I can advise if need be man ?? Any idea how to upload a video I have recorded it working and could upload ta Stuy
Cheers bud. Unfortunately have no idea how to load a video up either, as I haven't needed to. There's some of these integrated LED lights on the bay, for £65, are these the same as yours? If not can I have the details where you have purchased yours from as it looks like this is my next mod!
He has fitted an integrated rear light Great Guy......as in the indicators are integrated into the rear light
Looks good! The previous owner fitted the R&G tail tidy to mine, so I didn't have to do any of the hard work
I had similar on a previous bike and had no MOT problems. Just check that it has an "E" marking to keep it legit.
Hi guys and thanks for all your feedback, it's allways great to hear different peoples opinions... The Light is a integrated tail light. That means it has indicators brake and stop lights built in, really neat and ideal to keep back end looking slick well that's just my opinion. The manufacturer is motodynamics and the light came from America took bout a week to arrive so very happy with that and no duty to be paid, I did look at the ones on eBay there are several, and some cheap some middle range and some top... I went for the most expensive as thought it be better quality etc and wasn't disappointed. As far as the r & g tail tidy was concerned it's made from good quality plastic and fitted ok however a few mods were needed. I found the only thing it looks to be made very cheap, even needed to be drilled to fit number plate and then the led plate lamp cover needed modifying to fit as the number plate had to be quite high up on the fitment. I'll add more close up pics late when I'm up. But don't let this put you off its pretty straight forward if I can do it anyone can lol I think there maybe some subtle change to the 2014 bike so not sure about the fitment to this bike sorry for being vague ..... I hope this helps you all.
Looks great but as mentioned before will it pass MOT ? I thought indicators needed to be a minimum distance apart.
